Back to basics: your keys to safe driving

welcome

let's get started!

Welcome to Drive Safely Work Week (DSWW) 2012 — Back to Basics: Your Keys to Safe Driving. This year marks the 16th year of the DSWW campaign sponsored annually by the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS.) What better way to celebrate 16 years than to consider what turning 16 meant to most of us?—for some, reaching the rite of passage that is learning to drive and for others, realizing that driving was just around the corner!

This year's campaign materials take us back to the basics—to remind us of some of the fundamental skills necessary to being a safe driver. Whether your employees are on the road for most of the work day or driving to and from work, you'll find this year's campaign toolkit packed with tips and information to refresh some of the skills that may have become a bit rusty and perhaps teach us a few new ones. And for anyone facing the challenges of having a new driver in the household, the tips and activities in this year's campaign materials are ideal for assisting in the all-important role of being a good driving coach.

Thank you for downloading the 2012 DSWW campaign. Working together, we can significantly reduce the number of traffic crashes that impact our workforce, members of our families and the communities in which we all work and live.

Safe travels,
