The Post-Incident Coaching Toolkit is a working toolkit for field managers to address at-fault collisions. It is designed to help reduce risk and save lives by providing focused coaching to employees after they have had a collision.


The toolkit has been updated to include a driver behavior component. Behavioral coaching goes further: A manager using a behavioral coaching approach explores not only the facts, but also the decisions, habits and situational pressures that influenced the driver’s behavior. The goal is not just to record events, but to help the driver gain insight into why the behavior occurred and how to make safer choices in the future.
