  • This year’s event included a number of leadership-themed presentations which strongly resonated with attendees. Leadership partners who support road safety programs of all sizes and maturity levels were encouraged to attend the conference in order to benefit from these presentations.
  • An exciting addition to this year’s proceedings was the opportunity to travel to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) / Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI) Vehicle Research Center (VRC)to witness a “live” car-to-car crash test and participate in numerous hands-on vehicle demonstrations.
  • With employers placing increased emphasis on vehicle crash and integrity ratings, this hands-on field trip presented an excellent opportunity for road safety professionals to also invite personnel from their organization’s fleet leasing and procurement divisions as vehicle selection and decision-making is often a collaborative effort between each of these groups.
