Art Kinsman

Chief Strategy Officer, NETS

Art Kinsman is a traffic safety leader, public-safety communicator, and coalition builder with deep expertise in lobbying, media relations, and behavior-change initiatives. He has held leadership roles at AAA, NHTSA, and in Massachusetts state government, driving measurable change at both national and community levels. He joined NETS in 2026 as Chief Strategy Officer, helping guide the organization through a period of strategic growth and transition.

At AAA Northeast, he spent nearly two decades as the organization’s New England voice, creating the award-winning LIFE anti-DUI program and leading efforts to modernize Massachusetts’ impaired driving, occupant protection, and teen driver laws. He also helped lead the state’s landmark Right to Repair initiative.

As NHTSA Regional Administrator, he oversaw major highway safety programs and earned the U.S. DOT’s Innovation & Creativity Award. Most recently, he has advanced public-private partnerships through Travelers’ Community Voices for Road Safety.

He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

Art lives in Plympton, Massachusetts, with his wife, a high school history teacher, and their children, who excel at musical performance and theater. He also plays lead guitar in bands around the Boston area and is a strong supporter of the local music scene.

Lynda Morrissey

Operations Manager, NETS

Lynda Morrissey rejoined NETS in February 2025 as the Operations Manager, where she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day activities and providing direct support to the Executive Director and NETS members.

From 2008 to 2016, Lynda served as NETS’ Director of Marketing, Communications, and Projects. During that time, she led the development of the Drive Safely Work Week campaigns and served as the editor of the NETSWork newsletter. Lynda also played a key role in establishing collaborative agreements between NETS and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that spanned from 2010 to 2020, working on projects focused on occupant protection, drowsy driving, distracted driving, and employer outreach through State Highway Safety Offices.

Before joining NETS, Lynda worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where she held various sales support, training, marketing, and communications roles with EDS customers and partners, including Walt Disney World Resorts, Chevrolet Motor Division, and Toshiba. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.

Lynda enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two grown children, and their dog. She loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and is eager to travel anytime and to anywhere she gets the chance.
